What is raiseRED?
RaiseRED is The University of Louisville’s largest student-run philanthropic organization, and its efforts benefit the Norton Children's Cancer Institute and the UofL Department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology.
We have raised over 4 million dollars for research and patient needs. In addition to financial support, raiseRED volunteers with our Cardinal Crew program, inviting patients and families to partner up with a college student for fun events, parties, and mentorship.
All clinic patients, both currently experiencing disease and survivors, are welcome to join events like a Kid Prom, a rocket launching party, a gingerbread house building contest, and more!
Every February, raiseRED hosts a nationally recognized 18-hour dance marathon that celebrates the children & families we support.
With over 1,000 students involved each year, we aim to be a dynamic, inclusive, and impactful entity in our city. We welcome you to join in our efforts by donating, attending our events leading up to the marathon, volunteering or registering to participate.
