Morale Staff
Morale Staff work as student ambassadors for raiseRED through assisting in hosting pre-events, tabling on campus, and engaging with our student body regarding raiseRED. You will participate in a variety of workshops to learn how to present information about raiseRED to students, how to maintain a positive and inclusive environment, and how to lead effectively. The goal as a morale staff member is to promote positivity and excitement around raiseRED and our mission either through creating content or by creating personal relationships with other students. You will lead a color team during the marathon, ensuring people are excited and engaged throughout the entire duration. Your passion and love for the cause will be an inspiration to other dancers to fight for our kids. As a staff member, you will attend meetings for both general staff and Morale Staff, participate in events hosted by raiseRED leadership, learn and potentially teach line dance, and interact with dancers on a personal level.

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT STAFF
The Student Involvement Staff (SIS) works closely with he Student Involvement Coordinator in executing their roles and duties. This includes involvement with logistics and helping to manage the Team Captain program. When working with the Team Captain program, a SIS will lead a small group of Team Captains and help them to problem solve and troubleshoot any problems that they mat encounter in their roles. You will also act as a pseudo-Team Captain for registered fundraising teams without an assigned Team captain. This staff has a lot of flexibility and may vary depending on the needs of the Student Involvement Coordinator.

Team Captains
Team Captains will server as liaisons between raiseRED and a UofL Registered Student Organization (RSO) or school that you are a part of. You will represent your organization or school at staff meetings and raiseRED events, as well as during marathon. You are a point person for all communication between raiseRED and the organization. Your responsibilities will include attending all staff and Team Captain meetings, maintaining a clear line of communication between organizations, and encouraging members to register

Family Relations Staff
The Family Relations Staff will serve as liaisons between the raiseRED families and the Family Relations Coordinator. You will assist in pairing Cardinal Families and Cardinal Kids with their Cardinal Mentors and with your fellow staff member(s) will be responsible for creating and managing some form of data sheet and tracker with information about the mentors and their assigned families. You will attend and help plan all Family Relations events. You will help with the monthly newsletters going out to the families as well as the newsletters going out to dancers and donors.

Service Staff
Service Staff is responsible for participating in a minimum of two raiseRED volunteer events each month and sharing about each external service partner raiseRED serves. You will also be responsible for helping plan service events throughout the year. You will be working with a variety of non-profit organizations, such as Ronald McDonald House, Sickle Cell Association of Kentuckiana, Kentucky Blood Center, Gilda's Club, Norton Children's Cancer Institute, the raiseRED Cardinal Crew, etc. Through this position, you will be given the opportunity give back to the community through the donation of your time. The dates for service events will be given in advance so that staff members can plan accordingly. The Service Staff goal will be to expand the impact RaiseRED makes within the community by being present through service over the course of the year.

Dance Relations Staff
Dancer Relations staff is responsible for aiding in the registration and promotion of raiseRED for dancers prior to the marathon. This will entail working with the Dancer Relations Coordinator to strategize different ways to reach out to new people and groups for dancer registration or working with registration platforms to efficiently create fundraising pages. This staff will also organize and conduct "pitches" or "what is raiseRED?" conversations and presentations when needed. They will also help to organize and conduct various check-ins (actual marathon check-in, color team check-in, registration check-ins, incentive pick-up) throughout the year.

Sponsorship Staff
Sponsorship Staff aids as a representative of the Sponsorship team. In this role, you will be responsible for stewarding relationships with raiseRED sponsors, working with the Sponsorship Coordinators to schedule meetings and reach outs with former, current, and potential new sponsors, researching grants that could benefit raiseRED, assisting with procuring in-kind donations for raiseRED events, and attending sponsor outreach meetings alongside the Sponsorship Coordinators.

Design Staff
Design Staff collaborates with the Communications Director and Design Coordinator on content and media output. As Photo Chair, you will be responsible for the gathering and editing of photographic content at all events. As a Video Chair, you will be responsible for the gathering of video content at all events. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring brand management through graphics and maintaining media output including flyers, packets, pamphlets, merchandise, etc. Design Staff must be available to Executive Board members at request. We are seeking experience in photography, videography, graphic design, or merchandise design. These tasks will be delegated among staff members.
