raiseRED Team Captain

Team Captain Applications are open!

Morale Staff

As a member of Morale Staff, you will work as a student ambassador for raiseRED through assisting in hosting pre-events, tabling on campus, and engaging with our student body regarding raiseRED. You will participate in a variety of workshops to learn how to present information about raiseRED to students, how to maintain a positive and inclusive environment, and how to lead effectively. The goal as a Morale Staff member is to promote positivity and excitement around raiseRED and our mission either through creating content or by creating personal relationships with other students. You will lead a color team during the marathon, ensuring people are excited and engaged throughout the entire duration. Your passion and love for the cause will be an inspiration to other dancers to fight for our kids. As a staff member, you will attend meetings for both general staff and Morale Staff, participate in events hosted by other raiseRED leadership members, learn and potentially teach line dance, as well as interact with dancers on a personal level.

STUDENT INVOLVEMENT STAFF

As a member of the Student Involvement Staff (SIS), you will work closely with the Student Involvement Coordinator in executing their roles and duties. This includes involvement within the logistics of recruitment planning and execution along with working to support the Team Captain program. When working with the Team Captain program, a SIS will lead in external recruitment efforts for RSOs that are not currently registered. You will also act as a pseudo-Team Captain for registered fundraising teams without an assigned Team Captain and Team Miracle (our fundraising team of dancers without an associated RSO). Any SIS should feel comfortable providing presentations, speaking and educating about raiseRED, and assisting with fundraising to RSOs they may not have previous experience with. This staff has a lot of flexibility in assigned roles and tasks, and may vary depending on the needs of the Student Involvement Coordinator.
